Dr. Kim received his M.D. degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, CA in 1998. He completed his internship and residency training in Family Practice at Florida Hospital (now known as AdventHealth Hospital) Family Practice Residency program in 2001. He has been providing primary care to his patients in Smyrna and Marietta area since 2001.

He is married and enjoys spending time with his 4 children. His hobbies include racquetball, music, and volunteering with his church in community service activities. His volunteer activities include world-wide medical humanitarian service to Africa, Haiti, Amazon jungles, South America, Mexico, India and other countries.
