HOW ARE URINARY DISORDERS TREATED?

Your visit with the doctor will consist of a physical exam and a urine sample testing called urinanalysis. This is a quick test done in the office to determine if your symptoms are caused by infection, kidney stones, or other issues. The doctor may order further testing if necessary, such as PSA blood test for men for prostate cancer screening, or radiology testing to take a closer look at the kidneys and bladder. If the urinanalysis reveals a urinary tract infection the doctor will prescribe antiobiiotics to treat the infection.
